Wow, I really am terrible with keeping a journal. I always have been, I never buy dated diaries because it's such a huge waste of paper in my case :P I've been saving up a lot to say though, and waiting for the opportunity to tell you how much I've enjoyed myself the past few weeks. Since I "declared my independance", so to speak, I have had the chance to really get to know some of you, and I've met some truly wonderful people :) It's unbelievably refreshing, I thrive on knowledge, and people themselves are always the best source. I especially love learning about other cultures, I have some serious travel lust! School comes first of course but I think I may just have to squeeze in 2 weeks in Italy before I start :D

One new friend in particular read my palms, now, understand that I'm usually a little skeptical but keep in mind that this was our first meeting and there were no clues in my surroundings as I hadn't yet filled my room with all my art, flowers, and books. He quite literally read my hands and said:

-I'm a very bold, independant woman and I will never marry ( Very true usually, but I was quite shy since it was our first meeting... and I'm against marriage)

-I have artists' hands and I'm talented in many artforms (I draw, paint, carve, sculpt, sew, and write, to start...)

-I will own my own business in the near future and be very successful ( I've been carefully planning for 2 years now, and I have no doubt I will indeed succeed)

-I have a good heart and I'm very honest ( I do pride myself on being a loving, moral person, and I wouldn't lie at all if it weren't for discretions' sake)

-I'm off in my own world a lot of the time, and I like to be alone (I'm definitely a dreamer, and I usually stay up late just to get some alone time with my thoughts)

-I'll die when I'm 50, from health problems ( I guess if life is half over than I should enjoy it to the fullest, but I'm going to quit smoking anyways)

All in all, I was pretty impressed! Of course I do love flattery LOL...

As for my housing situation, I'm still staying in my cozy little hotel room and looking for somewhere suitable, I've become quite addicted to having a pool right outside my door and I think I'd like to keep it that way :) I have some great decorating ideas already, I can't wait to make myself at home!

I think I'm going to take a dip, it's just too pretty to be sitting inside! Hope you get a chance to enjoy the weather, remember your sunscreen :)
